Meeting Lauren Faust at Wonder Con 2012 (Anaheim, CA.)

There was a delay because she was stuck in traffic in rainy weather. While we waited, they handed out free Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls books.

I couldn’t find any more words to say! I was grinning the whole time. She was fantastic and down-to-earth. I couldn’t believe she sketched the princess. It really made my entire con!

In addition to meeting Lauren Faust, which was awesome, I found out later when I saw this post that the pleasant fellow I was next during the first pass of the line was John Joseco. So thanks for the brony company Saturday, plus all the pony art over the past year.

Isn’t this exciting? Are you excited? Because I’m excited. I’ve never been so excited! Well, except for the time I MET LAUREN FAUST!

The first time through the line, Lauren’s handler was being stern and trying to keep her from doing sketches, in order to keep the line moving. I don’t care about getting things signed so I just got a picture of her with the Pluto I’d bought earlier. But since she said she might be able to do sketches towards the end of her signing window, I absolutely came back and got a sketch of Pinkie Pie.
